Founder and Director
Founder and director Marci Klane has specialized in child education for more than twenty years, observing time and time again that students learn best with a hands-on, individually tailored approach that incorporates each student's specific learning style with curriculum. She has helped hundreds of students achieve academic mastery and become successful, confident, and motivated learners, including those with learning differences.
In 1998, Marci Klane founded One Smart Kid, LLC to create a team of highly qualified and well trained tutors to provide students with superior, individualized instruction. She is responsible for overseeing tutor training and matching students with tutors. As team leader, she works closely with teachers, parents, students, and educational specialists to ensure that the educational needs of all our students are fulfilled.
One Smart Kid Tutors 
Our team of tutors is made up of experienced teachers and educators. They are among the best in the nation and are hand-selected because of their extensive experience, skills, knowledge, and training. Our tutors are trained to provide the best instruction possible on all points of the educational spectrum, from literacy through time management to AP Chemistry.
We have on staff tutors who are experts on all academic subjects including SSAT/SAT preparation, learning differences, time management, organization, and study skills.
